About the instructors:
Merrick Jacob is a movement enthusiast with a passion for authentic connection and creative expression. She brings her expertise in figure skating, acroyoga, hand-balancing, and contact improv to guide participants in playful movement experiences. Merrick is a certified acroyoga instructor and has studied various somatic movement therapy modalities.

Alex Weinstein has dedicated over a decade to the practice of Contact Improvisation. Influenced by his esteemed mentors, he has danced and taught around the world, spreading the transformative power of CI. For Alex, contact improv is more than just a dance form; it serves as a practice of relational presence and self-discovery.

Jiuqu Flower Street is actually a section of Lombard Street, located between Hyde Street and Leavenworth Street. This section is a steep slope, but it is designed to be eight hairpin bends, and the road is full of flowers. If you need to shoot the effect of Jiuqu, you must stand at the low position of Leavenworth Street. Chinese people can drive by themselves in the western United States where San Francisco is located. If you will drive in San Francisco, you may wish to experience the feeling of driving through Jiuquhua Street.
