Don't break the society, break the kaasstengel Grace komt naar een klein, hecht vissersdorp om een nieuw leven te beginnen, maar haar komst wordt al snel met argwaan ontvangen. Haar poging om zich in te voegen wordt steeds moeilijker, aangezien de dorpelingen haar als een vreemde beschouwen. Van de dorpswinkels tot de school en de vissers, niemand lijkt haar te vertrouwen, en Grace voelt zich steeds meer geïsoleerd. Ondanks haar inspanningen om een plek voor zichzelf te vinden, wordt haar verleden langzaam een obstakel. Terwijl de dorpelingen haar steeds meer wantrouwen, lijkt Grace iets te verbergen – iets dat misschien te maken heeft met haar familie en haar onverwachte rol in het dorp. Wanneer een theatrale groep genaamd De Waltziërs de dorpsgemeenschap confronteert met een onverwachte boodschap over kunst, vertrouwen en verandering, komt Grace langzaam tot het besef dat haar strijd niet tegen de dorpelingen of haar achtergrond is, maar tegen haar eigen onbegrip van de complexiteit van menselijke relaties.
