Look around you. Nearly everything you can see began with a drawing. Your clothes? Fashion illustration. That radiator? Product design. The building around you was an architectural sketch. Those drawings would not have been about perfectly replicating something, because that something did not yet exist. I believe that drawing is for everyone because it is a way to imagine. Come along an learn some of the Traditional Drawing Skills relating to Architecture alongisde the skill of Drawing from your Imagination. We'll look at capturing depth and detail and we'll play drawing games together to help each of us conceptualise and design our own piece of architecture. I'm Hannah Kelly, an Edinburgh-based artist and art educator - please know you're ever so welcome whatever your confidence level with drawing. My tours are about building creative courage and laughing together and seeing things afresh. This drawing tour is relaxed and playful, suited to teens as well as adults. My favorite National Gallery of Scotland, I visit three times every time I come. Enter, the middle position on the left is worth admiring Potticelli, the Virgin kneeling to the Son Jesus, this delicate description of the work, placed in the most central position, next to Leonardo da Vinci&#39;s work, but this rarely seen, is his unfinished work, and posterity added some background. The fourth floor impressionist: Van Gogh&#39;s two works of different periods, Gaugin&#39;s most famous works, my favorite is several scenery of C&eacute;zanne, with a watercolor taste, different, and a large portrait of Diego&#39;s natural state, which is also the first time I have seen a different work. I personally think Monet is the most common in an exhibition hall, most visitors only pay attention to Monet and Van Gogh.

Very good place, the palace is not big, the old wooden floor is creaking, very atmospheric, I like it very much! ! I hope that in the future, I can see the part that has not been built or repaired, next to the Royal Art Gallery.

loved this place and the history walking down and up the royal mile with Edinburgh castle one end and Holyrood Palace the other and st giles. all the different closes. we managed to visit mary kings close which is an underground close which was built on top of and we also visited Blair street vaults which was discovered under the south bridge.you can see the view of Arthur&#39;s seat from the castle. There is so much history here including dark history.

It is a must-visit place in Edinburgh. On the hill, there are lots of good spots to get a good view of the city. Old Town, New Town, Arthur&#39;s Seat, and the sea are all visible there.
