Celebrate Endometriosis Month at the EndoArt workshop in Geelong. Hosted by Dr. Edwina Coghlan and Rachel Bishop, this three-hour session offers individuals diagnosed with endometriosis a chance to explore art therapy with local artist Rachel Bishop (Pinchiedraws). Thanks to a grant from the Epworth Medical Foundation, attendees can create their unique artwork while connecting with others in the endometriosis community. Rachel, an endometriosis survivor, aims to empower participants to unleash their creativity and inner strength in a supportive environment. No prior art experience is necessary, as Rachel will provide all materials and guidance. The workshop also seeks to explore the potential benefits of art therapy for managing endometriosis symptoms. Join this free event on March 10, 2024, at the Geelong Illustrators Studio Gallery, 105 Moorabool Street, Geelong, VIC 3220. Attendees must be endometriosis patients. A brief pre-workshop survey and a follow-up Zoom session will be required to gather valuable insights for ongoing research.
