Join us to get wild about our wetlands! In this session we will...
Head on a walk around the reserve to look for birds and other wildlife using ID guides and binoculars. The loop is approx 2 miles and should take us about 1-1.5hrs at a steady pace.
We'll then head to our private education area where we'll teach you how to create fires safely using a flint and steel, and make a small fire to roast some yummy marshmallows over.*
We'll have a couple of activities such as bug hunting available if time allows, and this your chance to enjoy some time in nature after the walk.
*Please note if the weather is particularly hot and dry leading up to this event we may not be able to do a campfire, in which instance we will replace this with another activity. We will communicate this beforehand so please keep an eye on your emails for any communications from us.
