45 Knightsridge Dr, Halifax, NS. 
This is your chance to meet with our peer fitness trainers and recruitment team. You will also learn about the exciting opportunities available at the Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency and participate in a workout to get a taste of what it's like to be a firefighter.
Whether you're considering a career in firefighting or just curious to learn more about what we do, this event is perfect for you. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with our team and get all your questions answered. We look forward to seeing you there!
Important information:
Bring photo ID. Participants must be at least18 years old.
Check in will begin at 6:15pm
Waivers and consent forms will be sent out prior to the event using the registered email address. These must be printed and completed prior to ID check-in.
Attendees are encouraged to wear/bring gym clothing, shoes and a water bottle.
This is an outdoor event and no shelter will be provided, dress appropriately for the weather. The location may be moved indoors in case of inclement weather and a new address will be provided to registrants using the registered email address.
If you register and can no longer attend, please log back in to cancel your ticket so someone else has an opportunity to attend.
If the event is sold out, log back in regularly as there may be cancellations; we do not keep a wait list.

Gorgeous! We busted around mid October and the leaves were begging to change. Everything was so well kept and picture perfect. They had flowers I&rsquo;d never seen before. They were so pretty!! Enjoyed walking around here for a while!

Peggy's Cove

Peggy&#39;s Cove is a must-see attraction when visiting Halifax. The lighthouse is on a small island, facing the sea, with beautiful scenery. There are souvenirs and local specialty products on the tower, and it is meaningful to buy some as souvenirs. There are restaurants around, but they are crowded, so we didn&#39;t go. There are also special lobsters, freshly caught from the sea, cooked for you in time, it is very necessary to try them.

The stories of the older generation of Canadian immigrants are here, and they are so touching that you can&#39;t help but cry. This used to be the landing point for immigrants, the dock for passenger ships, and the place where immigration procedures were handled. There are transfer guides inside, and you can listen to them carefully explain the immigration stories of those days.

No natural history museum can compare (sorry, Smithsonian). It&#39;s huge, but well laid out and modern. The exhibits are special, like the &quot;T-Rex&quot; is exceptional. As a bonus, you get to go inside the Hayden Planetarium. Take the subway from the underground entrance at 81st Street - this is a shorter line.
