Join the Colorado Brewery Running Series for the Five Alarm 5k & Chili Cook-Off at Resolute Brewing Tap & Cellar in Arvada on November 4, 2023. This exciting event combines a fun 5k run, a chili cook-off, and delicious local craft beer. The 5k-ish course starts and ends at Resolute Brewing Tap & Cellar, giving participants the opportunity to weave through the surrounding neighborhood at their own pace. At the finish line, a refreshing craft brew awaits runners, along with the chance to indulge in chili from up to 30 different cook-off participants. Each 5k entry ticket includes your first beer and tasters of the chili. If you're just interested in the chili cook-off, you can purchase a separate ticket for $5. Competitors in the cook-off are welcome to register and bring their own crock-pot size of their best chili. Winners will be awarded in categories such as best Red Chili, Green Chili, and Veggie, with prizes including beer for a year from Resolute Brewing. This event is not only about having fun and enjoying great beer and food, but it also gives back to the local community. 10% of registration dollars will be donated to the Retired Firefighters Association of Denver.
