The Free ActivAte Holiday Club (MW HUB Colchester) is a fantastic opportunity for Essex school children aged 12-17 years from low-income families. In collaboration with Active Essex, Disability4Sport is proud to present this fully inclusive program that is absolutely free for eligible secondary school children. The holiday clubs will provide a range of engaging and supported activities in small groups, catering to the needs of young people who require extra assistance during their time off school. At Disability4Sport, we believe in offering Something4Everyone, and that includes ensuring that all young people have access to fun, memorable experiences and a nutritious packed lunch. The clubs are specifically designed for those living in Essex who have mental wellbeing needs and are eligible for benefits-based free school meals, as well as those from low-income families. With local activities and inclusive sports coaches who are trained to work with young people with special educational needs and disabilities, these clubs truly provide an inclusive and supportive environment. Please note that children requiring one-on-one personal assistance will need to be accompanied by a parent or carer at every session.
