Please join Mike Manning on a special evening guided walking tour of Fort Independence at Castle Island. This tour will focus on the history of Castle Island from the first fort (1634) to the present day fort (1830s). We'll walk the perimeter of the fort and discuss Edgar Allen Poe, the Quasi War, the Spanish American War, and the fort's present day recreational use. In addition, we'll talk about the inner harbor islands, the massive Boston harbor clean-up, Logan International Airport, and the Conley container terminal. Then we’ll venture inside the fort and make our way up to the ramparts for a spectacular view of the city at sunset.
We'll plan to meet to the right of Sullivan's at the picnic tables where you'll see a blue pole beacon with a small wind turbine and solar panel. All are welcome, but please only RSVP if you plan to come, as space is limited. We also want to be able to contact you in case of inclement weather.
Tour starts/ends at Sullivan’s outdoor picnic tables ~ 1.5 miles
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring your own water bottle

The experience was very good. The tour guide kept talking for an hour and entertained everyone. You can experience all the city views on land and water. The moment you got into the water, everyone was recording. When you met other duck boats during the journey, everyone would imitate the duck&#39;s call to greet each other

The aquarium is well designed, but the venue is a bit small. There were many children at the school during the event. Boston was still very cold in May, and there were strong winds and heavy rain. The ticket price seemed a bit expensive.

Now this is the terminal of Boston&#39;s Freedom Trail. If the weather is good, you can walk all the way from Boston Park~
The only way to get to the top of the monument is to climb the stairs
There are a total of 294 steps, and numbers are marked every few steps, so that people who are panting and climbing the stairs can have a number in mind

There is actually only a small space on the top of the monument, but looking out through the small windows on all four sides, I immediately feel that climbing the stairs is worth it~
