Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Dessibakes is here to help! In this 1.5-hour class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided in class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).
You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! More details on refunds, things to bring, cancelations, and FAQs are below - looking forward to having you with us.
About this Class
This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We’ll be decorating six Dad’s Day-themed cookies using 4 icings to help you and pops learn how to pipe!
We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!
This class is on June 14th and starts at 12pm – 1:30pm sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family - we have seating for up to 8 people! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo we'll have extra seats for those just coming to show support!
This class is good for ages 6+, but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home, plus - we'll send you the class PowerPoint so you can teach them yourself!
The class will be held at the Pocono Palace on 106 south main st. in Moscow, PA. Nervous about the parking situation? Don’t be! Parking is pretty easy - there's parking in the back plus additional parking across the street as well.

Class Cancelation Policy
: Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that 
extremely
 rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund excluding Eventbrite fees.
Classes with attendance below 3 will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either have your ticket moved to a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance 5 days before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (
hint hint
) or find other plans for that day.
Weather Policy
: Sometimes Jack Frost doesn’t play well with cookie class schedules, and Mother Nature seems to be takin’ notes. In the event of inclement weather, I’ll contact you with options – these may differ depending on the weather event but rest assured – we’ll figure something out!
Eventbrite Fees
: Your ticket price includes your ticket fees; however, Eventbrite does not refund its fees. If you cancel your ticket and request a refund prior to the cancelation window expiring, I’ll happily give you a refund less the Eventbrite fee – since I don’t get this fee back either. Eventbrite keeps it regardless of whether you show up or cancel. I know – I hate it too!

Finally called, how can you come to Moscow without coming here? The red building is still very interesting. The soldiers on patrol also feel a lot different. It is too cold in winter and a bit deserted.
