The Fukushima Fireworks Festival lights up the summer in Fukushima City and is a historic event that will celebrate its 47th time in 2025. Located at Oshinogaoka Green Land near the intersection of the Abukuma River and Matsukawa River, the fireworks display with the water's edge as the backdrop is the highlight of the event. From the No. 4 fireworks to the impressive 130 cm fireworks and starry sky fireworks synchronized to music, about 8,000 fireworks will light up the night sky one after another. 
The charm of this event lies in the carefully choreographed fireworks, including performances accompanied by music and fireworks that convey messages. The open field with the water's edge as the backdrop makes the large fireworks that can be viewed up close from the observation deck even more impressive. There are also many food stalls set up on site, so you can enjoy your food while enjoying the fireworks.
