On the first Wednesday of each month Okanagan Game Developer's Association (OGDA) invites you to join a discussion at Accelerate Okanagan about that month's chosen 
Canadian-made
 video game. Game of the Month is meant to go beyond fandom of games, we will be discussing in depth topics about game development that may not be suitable for people who do not have game development experience. However, you do not need to have released a game or worked in AAA. New developers, students & game jam attendees are welcome!
What to Expect:
Come prepared: 
Play the game before the meetup.
 This month we will playing Koboo: The Tree Spirit by Jerome Labelle & Simon Labelle out of Toronto.
Be ready to talk
: We’ll discuss things like the game’s strengths and weaknesses, speculate on the intended audience, and any takeaways you may have to integrate into your own projects.
Finally, the group will choose the game for next month!

On the way to Banff, we stayed for lunch in Kirona. Lake Okinagan is the main attraction of the city. It is a place for citizens to take a vacation. White sail sculptures stand by the lake. Some people are playing in the cold water.
