Holding at Lake Ashi in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, the Hakone-en Summer Night Festival is a picturesque fireworks display that lights up the summer nights. In 2025, the event will take place over two days, on August 2 (Saturday) and 3 (Sunday), with 2,500 fireworks fired each day from the lake. The glow of stars and water on the calm waters of Lake Ashi echoes through the mountains as sound and light create an overwhelming sense of reality. Starting this year, paid viewing seats (2,000 yen) have also been set up on the beach by the lake, allowing visitors to enjoy an even more magnificent view. There is also a large grassy area where you can spread out a picnic blanket and relax while watching the celebrations, and food stalls and food trucks are lined up to enjoy the festival-like atmosphere.

although the weather is not good enough, the lake District is nice , you can enjoy the pirate cruise and  stay calm nearby.

The outdoor section of the gallery features over 120 large sculptures and artworks distributed on rolling hillsides, meadows and gardens, you can stroll on the grass or take pictures between the mountain view and the sculptures, forming a unique interactive art experience in the &quot;Picasso Museum&quot; in the gallery. It is one of the highlights. It has a special collection of about 300 Picasso works, including his paintings, ceramics, sculpture prints and tapestries. (! Picasso can&#39;t take pictures in the museum, only to remember this beautiful moment with eyes) This is not just a place to show artwork, it is surrounded by nature. The integration of the environment allows us to enjoy the tranquil natural scenery while enjoying the art I highly recommend everyone to visit when in Hakone!

I visited for the first time in decades. In conclusion, I&#39;m glad the kids enjoyed it. Personally, I like the open-air bath at the end, where you can enjoy the sun and feel calm because not many people come that far.
