Herbalism and Wild Plants for Teens!
Join community educator and clinical herbalist Philippa Joly for a 6 week hands-on class for teens all about using wild plants for food and medicine.
We will have fun digging up roots, nibbling shoots and learning about all the ways common and not-so-common plants can help us with our wellness and become tasty and nutritious foods.
We will learn to make simple medicines, how to identify poisonous plants and play lots of games.
This workshop is suitable for youth between 13-17.
All classes take place on Tuesdays, from 3:45 to 5:15 PM, at the Tsolum Community Garden.
