When the pandemic struck and live music was at a standstill, the 4 friends found themselves jamming outdoors in parks, with amps and PA's hooked up to jerry rigged motorcycle batteries, just to bask in the joy that is playing live music with like minded souls. Necessity is the mother of invention, etc. The rest is history. In their short time as a band, Honeybear has already managed to rack of considerable listens on Spotify, with close to a million streams for their debut singles, and has had numerous festival appearances such as Victoria's Rifflandia and others. Stanley Park is located in the heart of Vancouver, Canada, and is one of the largest urban parks in North America, covering a thousand acres. The park has more than 400 hectares of forest and is scattered with 500,000 trees, including hundreds of meters of Douglas fir, 800-year-old cedar, moss-dropping maples and a century-old western red cypress.
