Hope for Justice - Not Quite 10k 2025
Join us at the 
Britannia Inn
 for a day of fun and fundraising! Lace up your running shoes and get ready to walk, jog, or run for a good cause. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those who need it most.  
The run
 
is being organised and hosted by Liverpool One Church's Abolition Group and is open to anyone. It is approximately 5 miles (hence Not Quite 10k) and will start at 
10am
 from outside the Britannia Inn on Otterspool Promenade.
The run is a signposted route out and back along Otterspool Promenade with a small detour through Otterspool Woods/Park.
Kids Fun Run
We will also be holding a childrens fun run which will start at 
9am
 and is approximately 1k. We encourage children to get sponsorship too as this is a great way to introduce them to fundraising and Modern Slavery. Goodie bag provided for every finisher.
Fundraising
We will be fundraising in aid of 
Hope for Justice
, a charity that works to abolish Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. It is estmated that there are over 122,000 men. women and children trapped in slavery in the UK. Globally the number is over 40million.

This is a pilgrimage, as a Liverpool fan. No matter how this journey is perceived by others, it is a perfect one in my heart. Especially when I passed through the player tunnel and saw the sign of Anfield, my heart was filled with emotion. When I stood on the stadium and closed my eyes, I could imagine the bustling crowds here on match days.

I am not a Beatles fan, but after this tour, I was still moved by their legendary stories. And I found that some of the familiar songs were written by them. I appreciate Lenon&#39;s talent, but I like McCartney&#39;s gentleness and restraint more. It is a good place to visit.

This church looks ordinary from the outside, but you will be amazed once you enter. It feels very beautiful as soon as you enter. It is super big inside. It is recommended to come here on Sundays. There will be a choir every Sunday. You can pray with the locals and feel the atmosphere.
