The "Impressions of Lijiang" performance from the famous director Zhang Yimou is performed on an open-air stage located in Yulong Mountain Blue Moon Valley, 3,100 meters above sea level. The locals are all natives of Lijiang, embodying the connection between heaven, earth, humans and mountains. The performance is divided into two chapters, entitled "Snow Mountain" and "Ancient City". We left Lijiang Old Town around 1:00 PM during peak summer season. Traffic was horrific, and including the hour-plus visit to Tiger Leaping Gorge, the total journey took almost seven hours. During peak season, it&#39;s recommended to depart before 8:00 AM to avoid the rush hour.

After purchasing tickets on Ctrip, you need to exchange them at the ticket center and then transfer to the scenic area bus to take the elevator. The entire journey was quite smooth. The elevator ride up and down Tiger Leaping Gorge was effortless, saving time and effort. It was so user-friendly.

The awe-inspiring Tiger Leaping Gorge is worth a repeat visit. 👍

It is worth going. Lijiang Eternal Love and Lijiang Love Song are both very nice. There are many other attractions in the scenic area, most of which are folk customs. Because I had to get up early the next day to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, I regretfully did not participate in the Torch Festival and bonfire dancing, nor did I have a toast banquet.

This trip was incredibly good value for money, and the crowds weren&#39;t too large! Lunch was even included, which was simple but clean and delicious. I had a great time chatting with the horse-drawn carriage driver. The natural surroundings were beautiful and quiet.

Baisha Ancient Town is truly a wonderful place!

It&#39;s a tiny place, yet it embodies an indescribable sense of leisure.

The bluestone pavement is polished to a shine, and walking on it feels like stepping back in time. Wooden houses huddle crookedly on either side.

Bronze bells hanging from the eaves tinkle in the wind, as if greeting passersby.

Looking up, you can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, dazzlingly white on a sunny day, like a cream cake tucked against the horizon.

An old woman sits on the doorstep, embroidering, her thread dancing in the sunlight.

A silversmith swings his hammer, his silver bracelets still warm from the clinking sound.

The aroma of Yunnan small-grain coffee wafts from the corner cafe, mingling with the sweetness of freshly baked flower cakes, making you want to stop walking.

The best part is that time here moves a fraction slower than elsewhere. Dogs sunbathe in the middle of the road, and sparrows dare to peck at rice grains right in front of people.

Stop by any teahouse and you&#39;ll be able to enjoy a pot of tea until sunset. The owner won&#39;t rush you, and will even offer you a refill with a smile.

My toddler loves a singing dancing show everywhere we go, so I knew I had to take her to see Impressions while visiting Yulong Snow Mountain. Absolutely breathtaking scenery and amazing performance which at times felt like a spiritual experience seeing the resilience of the ethnic minority groups of China thriving. I stayed in Lijiang Old Town and walked to Zhongyi Market stop to board the 101 bus to Yulong, to make sure we had a seat. We boarded the bus after cuing at around 8:30. Arrived at park main tourist center at 9:45ish due to traffic so didn&rsquo;t have time to do much else before 11 show. I saw people in reviews say to get off at the Ganhaizi stop but did not see that anywhere. In fact, the stage is right across from the main tourist center - very easy access before during or after a meal in the center. We noticed many people bring in KFC to eat during the show - smart use of time! My main critique: tickets are wildly expensive, better to buy on Trip directly! Easy for foreigners

The glacier cableway is still worth a visit. It is not as cold as you imagine. A slightly thicker coat is enough. The altitude sickness is not as terrible as you imagine. As long as you move slowly, you don&rsquo;t even need oxygen!
