DescriptionOur Improvers Course is designed for children aged 5-10 years old who can already ride a bike with pedals but may still be a bit nervous or they want to develop their skills further. The course (4 x 1 hour sessions) will give children the chance to take part in a range of fun activities and games designed to develop their skills and confidence. The course will teach riders the following skills: Setting offRiding in a groupTaking a hand off the barsUsing gearsControlling speedAdvanced corneringBike, helmet and clothing checksThe course is also a great way to prepare children to take part in Bikeability cycle training in the future. The course is held over the following 4 dates (5.00-6.00pm). Riders are required to attend all four days. Thursday 5th JuneThursday 12th JuneThursday 19th JuneThursday 26th JuneAll sessions are held outdoors on the school playground.
