INTERNATIONAL COMEDY SHOWCASE Join us for a fun and cosy Sunday afternoon in the heart of Utrecht! Mad Cow Comedy hosts an afternoon of stand-up comedy performed by various international acts, all performing in English. Utrecht-based comedian, Rachel Morton-Young, introduces a different mix of comedians every 2 weeks, so no two shows are ever the same. Kartoffel: Our show now takes place in the Biergarten at Kartoffel, a German-themed restaurant along the historic Oudegracht (only a 10 minutes walk from Utrecht Central Station). The venue has great, affordable food, so considering coming early for lunch, or staying for a bite after the show. Half Iranian, half American, and raised in the UK, Nadine Froughi is a Dutch-based comedian whose witty material turns serious and sexy topics into silliness. When not performing, she’s making killer shallot pasta or deadlifting over 100kg. 𝗜𝘃𝗼𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀: Originally from the Netherlands and now based in Cologne, Ivo Slegers delivers rapid-fire, absurdist jokes that keep audiences guessing. Offstage, he’s a machine learning researcher who likes making funny faces in the mirror. 𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗶:
Utrecht-based Swar Joshi blends chaotic, cynical humour with complaints and hyperactivity, exaggerating minor irritations and trivializing existential crises. A UICF Talent, he’s been coached to perform at the Utrecht International Comedy Festival. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗕𝘂𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗷𝗸:
A comedian in his fifties, Frank Buytendijk shares sharp observations about modern life, performing globally from New York to Tokyo. A Laughing Buddha semi-finalist, he contrasts his futurist day job with deeply personal, humorous reflections. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗕𝗮𝗯𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗻:
Chicago comedian and radio host Brian Babylon has appeared on NPR's Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! and Inside Amy Schumer. Creator of the Bronzeville Comedy Showcase, he’s also regular host of The Moth story telling event in Chicago and contributor to Chicago Ideas. The Oudegracht runs through the city center of the ancient Dutch city of Utrecht, starting in the southeast of the city. Here, the original main riverbed of the Rhine and a new main canal that reconnects Utrecht to the Rhine separate, and the old canal merges with the original moat of the fortified town, from where it enters the center of town.

The prototype of Howl&#39;s Moving Castle is still very large. Because it is a castle that has been used all the time, it is still very modern and luxurious. There are explanation boards to use. There are actually live NPCs in each room. If you are interested enough, you can go up and chat to learn about the story of this castle.

Dom Tower

The Domkerk Cathedral in Utrecht, Netherlands, has a 112-meter-high tower. This Gothic cathedral was once the largest church in the Netherlands, but the nave collapsed in a storm in 1674 and was never rebuilt, isolating the tower from the east end. The tower is now a symbol of the city.
