INTERNATIONAL COMEDY SHOWCASE Join us for a fun and cosy Sunday afternoon in the heart of Utrecht! Mad Cow Comedy hosts an afternoon of stand-up comedy performed by various international acts, all performing in English. Utrecht-based comedian, Rachel Morton-Young, introduces a different mix of comedians every 2 weeks, so no two shows are ever the same. Kartoffel: Our show now takes place in the Biergarten at Kartoffel, a German-themed restaurant along the historic Oudegracht (only a 10 minutes walk from Utrecht Central Station). The venue has great, affordable food, so considering coming early for lunch, or staying for a bite after the show. Line-up 23rd March: On Sunday, 23rd March, we have a DOUBLE HEADLINER SHOW featuring Kyle Lucey (Canada) and Ben Van der Velde (UK), with fantastic support from Georges Degoumois and Tanvi! 🎤Rachel Morton-Young (host) is a lively and engaging British comedian based in Utrecht. As the founder of Mad Cow Comedy, she hosts and performs across the Netherlands and beyond, bringing sharp wit and high energy to every stage. 🎤 Georges Degoumois is a Swiss comedian with a delightfully bizarre style. Based in Amsterdam, he’s a rising star in the European comedy scene, regularly performing at top clubs in the Netherlands. 🎤 Kyle Lucey is an international headliner and a staple of the Canadian comedy scene. He’s performed at major venues like Massey Hall and Hot Water Comedy Club and has been featured on Just for Laughs Toronto and the Edinburgh Fringe. 🎤 Tanvi is an Indian-Dutch comedian with a darkly witty and unapologetically sarcastic take on life. She hilariously dissects the absurdities of interracial marriage, irrational fears, and expat chaos. 🎤 Ben Van der Velde is a UK-based comedian, actor, and improviser who has performed across Europe. A regular at top British comedy clubs, he’s known for his quick wit, infectious energy, and masterful crowd work. The prototype of Howl&#39;s Moving Castle is still very large. Because it is a castle that has been used all the time, it is still very modern and luxurious. There are explanation boards to use. There are actually live NPCs in each room. If you are interested enough, you can go up and chat to learn about the story of this castle.

Dom Tower

The Domkerk Cathedral in Utrecht, Netherlands, has a 112-meter-high tower. This Gothic cathedral was once the largest church in the Netherlands, but the nave collapsed in a storm in 1674 and was never rebuilt, isolating the tower from the east end. The tower is now a symbol of the city.
