Guided by artist Patrick de Guzman, you’ll create a captivating campfire scene using dynamic mark-making techniques. Experiment with dashes, lines, curves, and zigzags to build depth, warmth, and movement, bringing the flickering flames and their surroundings to life.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop offers a unique fusion of storytelling and painting. You’ll not only leave with beautiful artwork, but also with a memorable experience of sharing stories and connecting with others through art.
What to Expect:
Storytelling:
 Every painting begins with a story. Participants will be encouraged to write a 3-sentence story that will inspire the campfire scene you’ll create together. Your personal narrative will shape your painting and guide the entire session.
Embracing Mistakes:
 Art is all about play and experimentation. Patrick encourages everyone to embrace mistakes as part of the creative journey, allowing the process to unfold in unexpected and exciting ways.
Patrick’s Artistic Journey:
 Learn about Patrick’s personal artistic journey, his work, and how storytelling plays a central role in his creative process.

Location & Experience:
Hosted in the ambient space of the Marriott Residence Inn in downtown Calgary, this workshop offers a unique setting for artistic exploration. Further location details will be emailed to registrants upon booking confirmation. All supplies are included, and each participant will receive a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival; water will also be available for minors.

A fun, festive, and educational experience foreveryone. The Park has an assortment ofactivities, rides, food, civic museums, and heritage architecture emphasizing the cultural significance of early Prairie settlement/life.It&#39;s like taking a step back in time, and it&#39;s worthevery dollar. 11/10 do recommend.

It looks like a tunnel bridge, and it is also a transportation hub for passing through the other side of the river. The color of this bridge is very eye-catching, with red intersecting structures. Vehicles cannot pass through, but people and bicycles can pass freely. There are lights at night, and Fengjia feels magnificent.

it&#39;s a nice place to visit not only for kids but for adults who love animals as well. i went here alone, and it was nice to have a walk and see the animals at the same time. sadly,the pandas are gone, but i got to see them before they&#39;re gone.
