Presented by the 3 Cups of Kopi Playback Theatre Ensemble, It Takes a Village invites audience members to share their experiences, which are then reflected back via improvised performances. This event explores how community, education, wisdom and connection can shape the future. Audience members from all walks of life— family members, mentors, caregivers, students, teachers and others invested in youth development—are encouraged to share their perspectives. Performers listen deeply to each story and transform them into montages of movement, music, and metaphor. In Playback Theatre, authentic exchanges are key. No two sessions are ever the same.
