In honor of Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2024, the esteemed Juno Books cordially invites you to commemorate the release of this remarkable collection of poetry penned by neurodivergent women. The event will feature an extraordinary evening of spoken word poetry, hosted by the talented Kate Jenkinson and Ashley Edge from the renowned Prickly Pear online open mic for disabled poets. Additionally, we are thrilled to showcase the extraordinary talent of the Hive young poets. 

Mark your calendars for this special occasion on Thursday, 21st March 2024, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The Private Cafe Bar at the prestigious Showroom Cinema, located in the heart of Sheffield City Centre at Paternoster Row, S1 2BX, will serve as the enchanting venue for the event. We warmly invite you to sign up for the open mic session on the night itself, offering an opportunity for you to share your own poetic creations.

The remarkable poets featured in Kaleidoscopic Minds belong to a generation of women who have experienced late-diagnosed, undiagnosed, or misdiagnosed neurodivergence, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, OCD, and tics. Through the power of poetry, the collection aims to amplify the voices of this underrepresented group and raise awareness about how neurodivergence manifests in women and girls.

The anthology includes a foreword by the esteemed neurodivergent author, Rebecca Schiller, and features stunning cover artwork by the talented neurodivergent artist, Ailsa Turner-Gibb.
