Back by overwhelming demand after the sold-out April 11th event, this evening returns to one of the most mythic works in underground cinema: Kenneth Anger’s 
LUCIFER RISING 
(1980). Few films carry its mystique, controversy, and supernatural aura. Marked by betrayal, imprisonment, stolen footage, and an ever-shifting cast—including Mick Jagger, Marianne Faithfull, Jimmy Page, and Bobby Beausoleil—the film’s creation unfolded like a ritual in itself, steeped in magick, myth, and chaos.

 an exclusive deep dive into the mystical, cinematic, and personal odyssey behind 
Lucifer Rising
. As Kenneth Anger’s longtime manager and collaborator, Butler worked with him for over twenty years — touring internationally, producing films, and preserving hidden fragments of his legacy. 
Featuring rare archival materials, filmed interviews, and firsthand accounts, the evening offers an unprecedented window into the film’s tumultuous yet legendary creation.
Part screening, part ritual transmission, the night culminates in a rare theatrical screening of Lucifer Rising — a chance to step inside its timeless spell, as it was meant to be seen on the big screen, in all its hypnotic and ritualistic power.

PARKING
Limited parking is available onsite at PRS in both the front lot (entry from Los Feliz Blvd. when heading east) and back lot (entry from first alley way, off Griffith Park Blvd. from intersection with Los Feliz Blvd.), as well as street parking on Griffith Park Blvd. and (after 7 PM) on Los Feliz Blvd. We encourage attendees to consider carpooling, walking or biking to events if possible, and please be considerate of our Los Feliz neighbors when parking.
PRS EVENT POLICIES
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Events are subject to change without notice, including guest speakers and/or performers.
We encourage you to arrive at least 30 min. before the scheduled event start time to find parking, enjoy the Bookstore and take your seats.
Please turn off all mobile devices before the show. Talking and texting are not allowed during the events.
No filming, audio recording or mobile phone recording of events, screenings, concerts or other programs by audience members is allowed without permission.
There is no smoking permitted on PRS grounds.
We strongly encourage guests to wear masks to PRS events to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
PRS allows Service Animals into the facility under ADA and state guidelines. For further details please visit www.ADA.gov. No animals permitted whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support, under ADA guidelines and CA Health Code.
Please do not bring outside food or drink into PRS events.

We arrive around 12:00noon so the main parking area is already full. They told us to park in the science center building which you need to walk around 5-10mins which is not a problem for us. Its a 3 floor building and we really enjoyed checking each artifacts.
