Lake Akan is a popular tourist destination in Hokkaido. In winter, Lake Akan is like a dreamy ice and snow kingdom. The temperature drops to minus 20 degrees Celsius, the lake is frozen, and the snow is covered, which is beautiful.
&bull; Fireworks viewing: From February 1st to March 17th, fireworks will be set off on the surface of Lake Akan at 8 o&#39;clock every night. A warm-up performance will be held on the stage 15 minutes in advance, and the fireworks show will last for 5-6 minutes.
&bull; Ice activities: The ice park offers a variety of winter activities during the day, such as snowmobiles, banana boats, four-wheel off-road driving projects, and ice fishing entertainment activities.
&bull; Ainu Village: It is within a 10-minute walking distance from all hot spring hotels. The market shops with ethnic minority styles are dazzling and worth visiting. The wood carvings inside are worth buying.
There are many winter activities in Lake Akan, but you need to keep warm. It is recommended to wear waterproof, non-slip and warm shoes. Snow boots are the best choice.

Eastern Hokkaido is the main habitat of red-crowned cranes. Although they look like fairies who do not care about worldly things, they actually love to eat corn. When they first arrived here, they ate all the corn in Ms. Watanabe Tome&#39;s farm. Since 1963, Ms. Tome and her son have insisted on feeding the red-crowned cranes in this special feeding area.
