New Westminster Events in September, 2025

This education series is for 
all
 expecting parents! You are invited to bring one support person to the series, ideally the person who will be aiding you through labour. This is the series for you if you are hoping to have an informed and empowered birthing experience. 
Package rates include all 4 classes and an original labour/birth guide that I created after 12 years of working as a doula! I have worked hard to create a sliding scale that is affordable while compensating me in an equitable and sustainable manner. This being said, if cost is a barrier to you getting this education from me, please email admin@orukuttycomm.org and we can work something out together.
Classes 
will 
function from a queer-affirming, trauma-informed, and inclusive lens. I also function from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and violence prevention POV. If your values are not the same, please feel free to consider other educators. There is a doula/educator out there for every family!

This education is NOT a substitute for healthcare and thus should not be taken as medical advice. This is complementary informational support and education to give you the knowledge of what you will be going through and how to manage each stage.
If a client goes into labour/birth and I have to reschedule, the class will be rescheduled to the following Tuesday.
