Event description:Laurier’s Faculty of Music is proud to host the Laurier Alumni Percussion Celebration and the inaugural performance of the Laurier Alumni Percussion Ensemble! This event will take place in the newly renovated Savvas Chamberlain Music Building and will also recognize the teaching contribution of longtime percussion instructor Dave Campion as he celebrates his retirement. The concert will feature members of the Toronto Percussion Ensemble as special guests! Registration is now open to percussion alum to participate in a weekend full of reconnection with old friends over good food and great music making! Rehearsals for Alumni Percussion Ensemble chamber groups will take place all day on Saturday, November 30th and rehearsal for the mass piece will take place the morning of Sunday, December 1st. Please indicate your preferred participation option when registering.
