Children aged 4 years and above have the opportunity to participate in a 4-day Learn to Ride course, consisting of 4 one-hour sessions. This course is tailored for kids aged 4 to 10 who are eager to master the art of riding a bike with pedals. It is recommended that 4-year-olds complete the Balance Bike course before enrolling in this program. Throughout the 4 sessions, children will develop the necessary skills and confidence to ride a pedal bike independently. The instructors will cover essential techniques such as fitting a helmet, mounting and dismounting the bike, balancing, steering, braking, and pedaling. By gradually introducing the skills and providing a safe environment, children will build their confidence before transitioning to pedaling. The course will take place on Saturdays - 27th April, 4th, 11th, and 18th May, from 9:30 to 10:30 am, at Cringleford Primary School in Norwich. The cost for the course is £50 per child, with a small booking fee. Participants must attend all four sessions. Parents are encouraged to observe the sessions to understand the skills being taught and support their child's practice. All children must wear a suitable bike helmet during the sessions, and comfortable clothing suitable for indoor and outdoor conditions is recommended. Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the course commences.
