Children aged 4 years and above have the opportunity to participate in a 4-day Learn to Ride course consisting of 4 one-hour sessions. Specifically designed for kids aged 4-10 who wish to master the art of riding a pedal bike, this course focuses on building skills and confidence necessary for independent pedaling. The sessions cover essential techniques such as helmet fitting, mounting, dismounting, balancing, steering, braking, and pedaling. In a supportive environment, instructors gradually introduce pedals over the course's duration, starting with lowered seats and pedal removal for the first three sessions. By the fourth session, children will be proficient in all skills while pedaling. Sessions will take place on consecutive dates from Tuesday 2nd to Friday 5th April, from 10.45 to 11.45 am, at Cringleford Primary School in Norwich. To participate, each child needs their own bike and helmet; however, equipment can be borrowed if necessary. The course fee is £54.88 per child, with a small booking fee. Remember to dress your child in comfortable clothing suitable for indoor and outdoor conditions, avoiding skirts or dresses for practicality.
