Life Drawing: All Levels Course Overview:
Our Life Drawing class is open to anyone aged 16 and above who wants to explore the art of drawing the human figure from life. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist seeking to refine your skills, this class offers a welcoming and supportive environment where you can develop confidence and hone your unique artistic style. You'll learn essential techniques for drawing the human form, from proportions and anatomy to dynamic poses and shading. Teaching Approach:
Be prepared to grow and be inspired! Each week, you’ll work with different models in varied poses and themes, designed to challenge and expand your creative abilities. Our instructors will provide personalised feedback and practical advice to enhance your life drawing skills, helping you bring your subjects to life on paper with authenticity and expression. What You'll Learn:
By the end of this 10-session course, you will: Gain a strong understanding of human anatomy, proportions, and movement.Enhance your ability to capture dynamic poses and natural gestures in your drawings.Experiment with different techniques and mediums, building versatility in your artwork.Develop confidence in drawing directly from life models.Prepare your drawings for display in a group exhibition.Required Resources and Costs:
Easels and drawing boards are provided. To get started, bring your preferred paper (A3 size or larger) and your choice of drawing materials. Fee: £96.60 for 10 sessions of two hours each, from 14th January to 18th March, including participation in a group exhibition.
