The Linoprinting Workshop at Sidedoor Studios in Cobden Chambers, Nottingham, is a full-day introductory class led by renowned artist Marcus Gilmore. This workshop offers participants the opportunity to delve into the art of print-making, regardless of their skill level. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced creative, join us for a day of carving and print-making. Marcus will guide you through the process of transferring your chosen design onto a lino plate, which will be provided to you. You can either bring your own reference or select from the various examples Marcus will bring along. The lino plate will be either A4 or A5 size, depending on your preference.

Once your design is carved, you will have access to a hand-print press or a hand barren to bring your masterpiece to life. Not only that, but tote bags, cards, lokta paper, and a variety of other exquisite papers will also be provided for you to print on. Impress your friends and family with your custom prints and artwork created during this workshop.

The workshop schedule is as follows:
- 10:00 to 10:30: Set up and selection of references
- 12:30 to 13:00: Lunch break
- 13:00: Resuming carving and addressing FAQs
- 14:30: Printing and exploring the effects of different paper types
- 16:00: Workshop conclusion, tidying up, and collection of prints and lino plates
