Lost Cambridge

These workshops will cover a variety of topics from urban planning, the past, present and future of Cambridge, and community engagement. It's a great opportunity to learn something new and network with like-minded individuals.

What is The Cambridge Room?
The aim of The Cambridge Room is to raise the quality of the built environment for the benefit of all through collective action. We develop pragmatic, cutting edge research for the good of the community, and we are active members of the UK-based Urban Rooms Network.
Who runs The Cambridge Room?
We began as a research project in the University of Cambridge, and we have now expanded to launch our own independent charity. The research side of our work remains based in Cambridge University's Department of Architecture, while the charity comprises trustees from this University, Anglia Ruskin University, the Cambridge Association of Architects, local councillors and representatives from the community.
What can I learn through The Cambridge Room?
We'll have exhibitions and films in our Grafton space, and we will be running events and consultations for you to find out more about planning in your area. We cover all sorts - follow us to find out about Cambridge's historic past, have your say about local issues in the present, and get involved to make your mark on the city's future.
