Royal Portrush Golf Club is located in the beautiful northern coast of Northern Ireland. The course occupies a historic dune geology. The course was built in 1888 and gradually moved from the inland dune land to the coastal dune area. In 1929, the course had enough land to build two 18-hole courses. Designer Harry Cotter made full use of the higher and more undulating land to build the famous Dunluce Links Course. Later, there were two links courses here, and the club is also the only club in Ireland that has hosted the Open.
