This training is for Coventry Early Years Providers, Schools, PVI and Childminders only
This two hour course will support attendees to learn more about schematic play, how this can support young children’s development and what this looks like in practice.
There will be opportunities for discussion and time to explore resources linked to schematic play which are both affordable and accessi
The aims of this course are:
Explore the link between brain development and schemas
Know the different types of schematic play and activities to support and develop this play
Consider the role of the adult in schematic play
Learn more about heuristic play, loose parts, and how this can support children’s schematic play
