Please note: this event will be held in person at The Hidden Gardens Boilerhouse. Make your own natural paints using earth and rocks from around Scotland. You will transform ground pigments into water-based paints like watercolours to make your own natural art kit. No previous experience needed. Materials will be provided but please bring small jars to take your paints home. About the facilitator:Grace Browne is a creatrix of joy. Her research-led practice explores portals for re-membering her Nigerian foremothers arts. She works with earth to tell stories of reconnecting with ancestry, nature and the body. This is expressed through visual arts, community workshops and film. Grace also hosts and produces the African Women’s Art Podcast, a space for celebrating artists and the diversity of practices. -------------------------------------------- Access information for this event:This event is for people aged 10+ only. We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

It is a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, there were almost no people on the road, only the old buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which was awe-inspiring.

It is the oldest religious building in the entire Scottish region. It is also a must-see for tourists.

The Kevin Grove Museum of Art, located opposite the main campus of the University of Glasgow, adopts Spanish Baroque. The style of the Victorian red sandstone building is its distinctive feature. The museum contains world-class art works such as Salvador Dali&#39;s representative work &quot;Christ of John the Cross&quot;.

George Square

George Square is located in Glasgow city center and is very conveniently accessible by train or subway. On nice days, you can sunbathe and watch pigeons in the square. It is close to the famous shopping street, where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, shoes and socks. There are also many restaurants and eateries to choose from. 
George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square;during different festivals, such as Christmas, the square is built into a Christmas Market, becoming a dynamic and happy atmosphere.
