The Manchester Christmas Parade returns in 2025, marching through the city centre on Sunday, December 7th. This year, local community groups have the opportunity to participate and experience the holiday magic. Now in its fourth year, the parade is a beloved event, filling the streets with festive joy, music, and laughter. Organizers have invited a diverse range of community groups, from choirs and dance troupes to youth groups and community organizations, to join the parade and create this year's most unforgettable celebration.
Highlights include: the spectacular Elves Express, where Santa Claus and his elves will ride; Nutcracker toy soldiers riding Segway; a playful, wandering Christmas tree; gentle giant reindeer; Jack Frost and his dance troupe; and the Snow Queen's return in her giant snowball. 
The newly added 2025 Festival Fantasy Candy Castle is a three-meter-tall fairytale building surrounded by candy canes. It slowly rotates along the parade route, guaranteed to spark the imagination of all ages.
The parade starts and ends at Manchester Cathedral, passing through: Victoria Street → Deansgate Street → John Dalton Street → Cross Street → Market Street → St. Mary's Gate → Deansgate Street → back to Victoria Street → Manchester Cathedral.
