Join the Marbling & Book Binding workshop at Kirkstall Forge in Leeds. This hands-on workshop allows participants to create their own hand bound books using the traditional Japanese Stab Binding technique. Get creative with vibrant marbling inks and design unique swirling patterns for your book covers using a variety of papers and cards. Each participant will leave with at least one beautifully crafted book. The workshop will take place at Butlers, conveniently located at Kirkstall Forge, which is easily accessible by train. As part of the sustainability efforts, participants are encouraged to use public transportation, but parking arrangements can be made if needed. While the cafe will be closed during the workshop, participants are welcome to bring their own drinks and snacks. Please note that the workshop is subject to minimum numbers and may be cancelled if not met. Secure your booking by making a payment, and remember that refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. Hand sanitiser will be provided, and spaces will be limited to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
