CAMP HIGHLIGHTS: First We Have Fun! The coaches work at a level that brings out the fun in the game. Clinic and camper participants will receive instruction on baseball-specific drills and techniques that cover hitting, infield, outfield, pitching, base running, and team defense. Drills will focus on proper infield, outfield, and throwing mechanics. Players will receive instruction on proper hitting mechanics, as well as drills to reinforce the components of a good swing. In addition, team defense, as well as several team games and competitions, will be held to reinforce the drills. Speed and proper form training will also be demonstrated and instructed. Each day, time is set aside for scrimmaging to allow players to apply the skills learned to game situations. During the week we will have a visit from our friend Mr. Softee to end the day!
