Milton Keynes Athletics club athlete introduction program is a 4-week pre-set series of sessions, of 60 minutes, which are designed to give the club's new athletes and potential new club members a taste of athletics, its structures, its events, experience of sessions and a first-hand exploration of their movements and abilities, with relation to specific athleticism. The primary group that this induction is aimed at is the Youth development age group, 11+ (School year 7 up), and upon completion of the 4 weeks, an athlete will be able to join the club, and coaches will be able to direct them to suitable regular sessions that will assist in developing their skills and athleticism. There are limited spaces on each induction, please register as soon as you are able as the spaces go very quickly. Each individual athlete needs to be registered, not any attending parent or carer. There is an induction fee of £11 (1 months membership) which will be subtracted from the annual membership, following completion of the induction and joining the club. The induction fee can be transferred to an induction course of a later date if needed, following advanced notification, and in advance of the original induction starting date. The induction fee is not refundable in the event of non attendance Please carefully note, the dates below for the induction are as follows: Saturday 12th(9:00am) Saturday19th (9:00am) Saturday 26th(9:00am) And either Sunday 20th or 27th (to be confirmed with induction group)
