The main idea is to hang with the Out Our Front Door community and welcome new folks that are interested in riding or volunteering with OOFD. It is a fun, chill, casual time to socialize and hangout/have a good time. Come meet some of the OOFD crew, ask questions, figure out ways to get involved, ask your questions about bike adventures and camping. At 8:00pm:, we will briefly gather round for some very brief announcements. An OOFD Volunteer will highlight a couple upcoming events, share a fun fact about the ecology or history of our location, and point out other OOFD guides in attendance, so everyone knows the faces of some friendly folks who are happy to answer questions about anything Out Our Front Door. Back up location in case the weather is wet or too chilly will be Skylark, a bar up the road from the park. In case of unfriendly outside weather, keep an eye on our social media the day of to see if we make the move. You are welcome to come even if you don't register. The more the merrier.

Tom Ping Park is a gem in Chinatown. It is beautiful in every season and offers a great opportunity to view the skyline from the south. The water taxi stops at the park but parking is also nearby. Be sure to bring your camera as it is very picturesque. I took my dog ​​for a walk through the park. It is dog friendly with lots of trash cans for trash and grass to play. A beautiful mural was recently created and it is a great photography spot. I saw people taking family and wedding photos in the park and the skyline was like a back drop spot, so have fun!

I haven&rsquo;t been here for 4 years, but I still feel a sense of intimacy when I return to Chicago&rsquo;s Chinatown after the epidemic. There are a few more shops, and there are quite a few tourists at 7pm. Dinner was at Phoenix Restaurant, one of the best options in Chicago. The food tastes very authentic and the human touch is deeply felt.
