The Motion Festival, hosted at the Kellogg University Art Gallery in Pomona, features time-based work by Visual Communication Design students, showcasing motion graphics and animation. Poly-Kroma 2024 includes the Industry Portfolio Showcase, highlighting graduating senior Visual Communication Design majors, and the 2D3D+ Juried Student Art Show, exhibiting works from Art Department students. As art forms evolve with technology, including time-based media, digital illustration, and gaming, Cal Poly Pomona's Art Department stays at the forefront. This year marks the debut of Poly-Kroma's Motion Festival, curated by faculty and industry leaders. Following the 2D3D+ Reception & Award Ceremony, the festival will screen students' motion graphics and animations outdoors on the lawn.
