Navigating Edmonton's Housing Issues - a Community Information Session
Join us at the 
Edmonton Public Library - Capilano 
on Tuesday, May 6 from 6:00-8:00pm for an informative session about what the City of Edmonton is doing to tackle 
homelessness,
 
housing, and related issues
 in our community. Learn about resources, support systems, and ways you can make a difference. This in-person event presented by HERE (Hardisty Evolving through Research and Education) aims to raise awareness and foster discussions on these critical issues, empowering citizens with information to share with their friends and neighbors. Come get together with fellow community members to explore solutions and create a more supportive environment for those in need. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of positive change!

Speaker Bio

Caitlin Beaton
Program Manager of Homelessness Prevention, City of Edmonton
Caitlin started working with people experiencing homelessness over 25 years ago as a volunteer and learned first-hand about how systems keep people in poverty, which led her to become a social worker. Caitlin has worked within the non-profit and public sectors, providing leadership, developing and implementing strategic projects, and brokering and strengthening partnerships to ensure that essential services are in place to move people out of homelessness and poverty.
