Join the No Bars Orchestra in Leicester, a beginner music group for young people aged 7 and above. No Bars welcomes all types of instruments, not limited to western orchestral ones. Whether you have previous experience in music-making or not, grades or no grades, learning from YouTube or never even tried it but have an interest, if you are aged 7 and above and have a love for music-making, the No Bars Orchestra has a spot for you. Rehearsals will be held at the Woodgate Community Centre in Leicester every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. starting from January 10, 2024. By joining the No Bars Orchestra, you will become part of a diverse and motivated group of young musicians. They have already performed at De Montfort Hall with the Leicester Symphony Orchestra, participated in the Grime Opera with NYJO and Pedestrian, and also perform annually at the Leicester City Lights Switch-on festivities. The Leicestershire Schools Music Hub provides support for this orchestra. Each session costs only £3.50, but families eligible for benefits can attend for free.
