Witness 5 impressive Improv duos performing a captivating slice of life and dramatic improv show titled "No Laughing Matter (A Slice of Life Monoscene Show)" in Montréal. The talented improvisers aim to infuse humor into the absurdity of life through slow, grounded scenes following the Monoscene format. This production is inspired by the renowned L.A. & New York show, "This Show Is Not Funny." Produced by 3rd Degree Productions, the cast includes Brent Skagford, Jacqueline Levitan, Mahsa M, Sarah Ellis, Stefan Spec, Dale Bernier, Selene Bance, Akeem J.P, Howard Mitnick, and Monika Schneider.

The event will take place at Impro Montréal / Montreal Improv, situated at 3716 Rue Notre-Dame Ouest in Montréal, QC H4C 1P7, on April 26, 2024. The show will be conducted in English, with general admission tickets priced at CA$6.66 and CA$11.98 for MI Students, available online or at the door. This 18+ event will offer alcohol on-site. Note that the venue features access down a set of 12 stairs with a handrail and is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Recognizing the significance of the land, Impro Montréal / Montreal Improv operates on the traditional territory of Tiohtiá:ke, historically a gathering place for various First Nations and indigenous communities such as the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Atikamekw, Algonquin-Anishinaabe, and Huron-Wendat.
