Six Tampa-based artists converge on three Ybor City venues for HCC Art Galleries’ 2nd Annual Now on View February 22. Their purpose: to create a series of temporary public artworks that invite the public to consider Tampa’s past, present, and future. Tours are organized by Tampa Bay Tours and will begin at the HCC Ybor City Campus, Performing Arts building (1411 E. 11th Ave., Tampa). Maps, light refreshments, and parking passes will be provided. Participating NOW ON VIEW artists: Victoria Alvarez presents a temperature-sensitive poster print you must touch to see. Bring your friends and work together to reveal the underlying images, exposed by your hands’ warmth, in this personal tribute to Tampa’s LGBTQIA+ history. Tyler Gillespie and the FAX 727 collective invite Tampa residents to find the words to describe images from Tampa’s historical archives in this Tampa history-themed poetry alley. Jehoshaphat Jacinto celebrates Ybor City’s rich and diverse history with a street dance battle. How-to demos teach participants how to pop, lock, break and vogue. Erin Lekovic encourages Tampa audiences to participate in a new 7-10 minute site-specific play inspired by Ybor City. Working in collaboration with Amanda Gabaldon, Emma Quintana invites Now on View participants to dance with disaster in a new art installation inspired by Tampa’s recent hurricanes and recovery efforts. Florist Kali Rabaut welcomes guests to step into her infinity mirror and explore how botanicals connect us to our past, present and future. Now on View is organized by Grounds4Art@HCC and is made possible with the support of the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners. Additional support comes from our project partners, including the Arts Council of Hillsborough County, HCC Foundation, HCC Student Government Association, Hotel Haya, and Tempus Projects.

I had an absolutely amazing time at Busch Gardens! The park had an incredible mix of thrilling roller coasters that got my heart racing and fascinating animal exhibits that were both educational and entertaining. The atmosphere was lively, and the live entertainment added an extra layer of fun. I was able to enjoy both adrenaline-pumping rides and learn about animals&mdash;all in one place. Definitely a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable and diverse experience!

Adventure Island in Tampa Florida is a fantastic place to take the whole family. Plenty of parking. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Before coming to Tampa, I was attracted to this zoo when I was making a travel guide. Although I feel that most zoos are more childlike and more suitable for parent-child travel, I brought my children to visit on weekends. However, this zoo gives people a good visiting experience. The classification of the zoo is very clear. You can download their map before visiting and follow the map to visit. The animals that can be visited in each area are also clearly marked on the map.

I prefer the African area in the zoo. You can also take a small train to visit. It&#39;s like traveling through the animation world of the Lion King. The zoo is very interesting. There is also an interactive area in the park where you can feed goats and touch manta rays. It is very suitable for bringing children.

There is a restaurant in the zoo. If you are tired, you can order some snacks and continue to play in the afternoon. I stayed in the zoo for a whole day. There are many things to do. It was the first time I saw penguins that could stay outdoors in the zoo. Later, I heard the explanation and learned that this was an African penguin, a penguin that does not need air conditioning. It feels like a zoo that can unlock new knowledge.
