Join the NWB Run Club Beer Mile event in Kent at the North Water Brewing Company to celebrate three years of running and beer. The event will take place on May 11, 2024, and tickets are available for $25. Participants can enjoy a special Run Club beer release and take part in the annual Beer Mile Charity Run. The entry fee includes a NWB Run Club Neck Gaiter, a free beer, and a hot dog (vegan option available). A percentage of the proceeds from the beer run and $1 from each beer sold throughout the day will be donated to Gray for May, a charity dedicated to fighting brain cancer. The event welcomes all paces and faces, with prizes for first, second, and third place. Participants must be 21 or older to partake in the beer mile. The course is a half mile out and back, with participants drinking eight ounces of beer before and after the run. Prizes include gift cards and beer packs. Check-in begins at 11:30 am, with the race starting promptly at noon. After the race, stick around for the post-run celebration.
