Colorado Springs Events in February, 2024

Open Sky Colorado, a company of Christian professional dancers based in Colorado Springs, is delighted to announce the upcoming event, "Open Sky Colorado Day of Dance." This special day of workshop and worship is designed for dancers who are eager to connect their faith with their movement and further develop their technique and worship expression. The event will take place at the esteemed Turning Pointe Dance venue on Library Lane in Colorado Springs on February 17, 2024.

Throughout the afternoon, dancers of all levels, from ages 11 through adult, will have the opportunity to participate in a range of master classes. The master class options include Ballet for beginners and intermediate dancers, Ballet for intermediate and advanced dancers, as well as Embodied Worship for all levels. During the dinner break, we will also have a thought-provoking conversation about the intersection of dance and faith.

The evening session promises to be truly inspiring, featuring a breathtaking performance offered by Open Sky Colorado. Additionally, there will be a dance worship jam open to all participants, where we will collectively worship God through dance. Our heartfelt desire is to encourage dancers to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through their artistic voice and foster unity within the dance community.

Tickets for this extraordinary day of dance are priced at $45, and need-based scholarships are available upon request.
