Join the one-day Paper Doll Workshop with Kate Toms at MAKE Southwest in Bovey Tracey. This character creation workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to learn the process of making a small paper mache figure. You can personalize your creation with cloth, paper, and paint, allowing for a unique and individual outcome. Whether you choose to create a festive fairy, Father Christmas, or something entirely different, the possibilities are endless. The workshop is suitable for all levels, with basic hand sewing involved. Please bring some lightweight fabric, papers, buttons, beads, and other scraps to add your personal touch. Note that the outcomes are not suitable as toys for children. Remember to bring your own scissors, needle and thread, and any other bits and bobs you'd like to use. We recommend wearing old clothes and bringing a packed lunch, as lunch is not provided. The workshop will be held at Riverside Mill, Bovey Tracey. Please make your way to the side gate, through the courtyard and up the stone stairs. Parking is available at the Methodist Church car park and Station Road car park.
