On 21 June Stage 7 was due to take us from Box Hill to Guildford which is approximately 15 miles. Having recently checked this route we have taken the decision to split the walk into 2 stages. This month we will travel from Shere to Guildford having walked from Box Hill to Shere in June. There will be an additional date (tbc) to undertake the Guildford to Farnham section (Stage 8).
Whilst we wish to ensure we can welcome all, our pilgrimages do require some walking experience. Before booking please be sure you’re able to walk for at least 10 miles at a reasonable pace, in varying weather conditions and across a range of different terrain. The pilgrimage organisers will not want to ask anyone to turn back during the walk but if necessary we may need to do so to keep the entire group safe. We try to ensure there is at least one drop out point during the walk with links to public transport but this is not always possible.
Ticket price does not include refreshments or travel.
