 is a compelling short film that takes you deep into the world of bees and their profound connection to Irish religion, folklore, and biodiversity. This thought-provoking documentary explores the vital role bees play in our ecosystems, the challenges they face, and how we can help ensure their survival.
With moments of sadness, humour and ultimately hope, the film beautifully weaves a narrative that highlights the urgent need to protect biodiversity, both in Ireland and across the globe. It debunks common myths about bees and biodiversity, offering fresh insights and inspiring viewers to take action.
The documentary features heartfelt interviews, including with the likes of Kilkenny native, 81-year-old 
Peter Walsh
, who has been counting bees in the same spot in Co. Kilkenny since 1959, and Skerries locals Charlie and Marion Heasman, who have created a remarkable 5km-long biodiversity corridor in Co. Dublin.
With a unique soundtrack of traditional Irish music composed by 
Brenda Castles
 and performed live with the film by Brenda on concertina, 
Alan Murray
 on guitar, and 
Eimear Arkins
 on fiddle, 
Plight of the Bumble Bee
 is a tribute to nature, community, and resilience. Prepare to be inspired. Prepare to act. This is a story not just about bees—it’s about us all.
This will be an entertaining and informative afternoon for all those interested in nature and the environment around us.

On the way from Phoenix to Page, we passed through three areas with completely different geological features and vegetation. When we first left Phoenix, we saw columnar cacti on both sides of the road. As the altitude increased, the cacti and other low shrubs disappeared, replaced by tall pine forests, and finally the barren plateau with Danxia landform characteristics. It was amazing!

St. Louis in the central United States is located near the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers and is named after King Louis IX of France. The most famous landmark in St. Louis is the Clavier Gate on the Mississippi River, which is very beautiful at sunrise.

Meet in Forest Park in St. Louis in winter. Walking in Forest Park, passing by the History Museum, Art Museum, Zoo, and Science Museum. Along the way, there are people running in shorts, cyclists, fishermen by the lake, and people playing golf and tennis... There is such a large forest park in the city center, and there are many places for entertainment. People regard exercise and enjoying the sun and outdoor air as part of their lives. I am a little embarrassed to wear a sweater and trousers.

This zoo is beautiful! It&#39;s the first zoo I&#39;ve been to where the animals looked happy. You have a nice view from every angle. The underwater sea lion exhibit is a must see! It&#39;s free!
